The quality of the photos you provide makes the difference between a good memorial card and a great card. Please take a few moments to read about photo requirements.

Images viewed on screens my look sharp but may not print well and this
comes down to image resolution. Image resolution is the amount of detail an
image holds. In digital images, this detail is usually measured in dots per inch
(dpi). The more dots (or pixels) in the image, the clearer it will be in print.

300 dpi is the preferred resolution.

Original photo files from your camera (perhaps stored on your computer),
directly from your phones camera library or high resolution scans of your
original prints work best.

When a printed image is very low resolution it will look blurred or even display
in squares (pixels).

No. Screen shot images are compressed in the process and have very low
resolution making them unsuitable for print.

No. Images taken from social media are compressed in the process and have
very low resolution that is not suitable for print

Yes, we are more than happy to scan your photo prints free of charge

No. Files are compressed when sent via messaging lowering the image
resolution. We ask that you please send us all of your digital photos via
email. If sending from your phones photo library, you will be given a file size
options to pick from. Please choose the largest file size.

When choosing the photos for a memorial card it is important to consider
things like cropping (is there enough space around the image for the designer
to work with). Take care when choosing photos with hats and glasses. Hats
often cast shadows on the face while glasses sometimes have reflections that
obscure the eyes.

We do offer photo restoration and background editing for an additional fee.
